It’s more than a lifetime’s work. It’s a story that spans generations. A commitment that is renewed every day. As sure as the sun rises, our farmers will be here. Caring for the herd. Tending to their needs. Providing us with one of the very best, most nutritious goodness there is. Fresh, high quality milk. Our rich pastures are one of our greatest national assets, and our dairy farmers take their responsibility to safeguard them for future generations very seriously indeed. It’s their mission, together, as part of Tirlán, one of Ireland's leading dairy co-ops, to make every day this good.
Generation after generation. For as long as the grass keeps growing.

Meet More of Our Farmers
Shane O’ Loughlin, Monasterevin, Co Kildare
Shane is the third generation of his family to farm in Monasterevin. His father Dermot started dairy farming in 1943 and started supplying the local creamery in Monasterevin in 1960. Back then it took six men to milk their 24 cows by hand but Shane now employs modern technology to milk his 200 cows to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Trevor & David Bennett, Abbelyleix, Co. Laois
David has been farming with his father Trevor since 2004 but Trevor has farmed beside the heritage town of Abbeyleix in County Laois since the early 70’s. Trevor witnessed the transition from bringing milk to the local creamery in Raheen in churns to the modern system employed by Avonmore which ensures maximum traceability and quality.
