Tirlán’s sustainability strategy, ‘Living Proof’ provides a framework for sustainability-related programmes, targets and activities across the business and is organised under three pillars: Growing Together, Climate & Nature and Circular Economy. Living Proof includes programmes and targets relating to areas such as farmer engagement, community engagement, water quality, greenhouse gas emissions and resource use.

Climate and nature are closely interconnected. Appropriately selected and implemented nature-based approaches and regenerative agriculture practices can contribute to climate mitigation and adaptation, by supporting biodiversity, soil health and water management. The themes included under the this pillar are Green House Gas reduction, biodiversity, soil health, water quality, animal care and air quality.
